Trust

The beauty and paradox of being human exists within our perceived ability to influence the definite outcomes of the future. Simply put, we believe the more we force things, the more we can get what we want. Unfortunately this isn’t true. The universe we live in is like a beautifully engineered machine that is constantly creating balance and expansion. In order for this machine to work as intended, a “flow” between the moving parts need to be achieved, so that nothing breaks down. When force is added, the machine will have to use its own force to counteract what it’s receiving in order to get to that balanced flow state once again. So how do we get what we want and not add force? Think about your effort in terms of momentum rather than force. Force is when we’re pushing against something, momentum is pushing with it. As an individual, we can achieve momentum when the work we do toward our goal is irrelevant of the outcome and focused solely on the work itself. Whatever rewards, good or bad, are the byproduct of the momentum you’ve created. When we overthink, plan too hard and forget that we are not in control of the future, we loose our chance to be able to steer our ship to where we want to go because those activities are outside of the work itself and are focused on outcome.

Today, trust that the universe has got your back. Everything that is happening in your life, whether you see it or not, is for your benefit. Being tied to the outcome of where you think you should be blinds you to the direction your momentum is heading. Lacking trust that your honest efforts and work will result in the outcome best for you drains you of the energy to actually get what you want. If you want to start flowing with your life and have the energy to get all the outcomes that make your life magical, you must let go of them completely and trust that your outcomes now are guiding you there. You are much more in control when you trust that you don’t need to be. You are the captain of the ship, trust that the universe is what helps you steer. Live Well ❤️
