I Surrender

Waking up today I realized that the day before me is unknown. The path to which it unfolds is a step that follows the one the precedes it, and my life is a series of steps forward. Thinking too much of where I can go will only make me believe I have control. I do not. I must walk forward in this life, unknown is my destination, but in the present, I seem to be there already. Like magic, each step forward combined creates a walk, and a walk gets me to where I was always going, but didn’t know. I’m much happier walking. The future is too hard to predict and hurts my heart when I try, because I never get it right. And when I do, it sucks...never the same as I pictured it. One step in front of the other makes an enjoyable journey to places I’ve never known. Come walk with me.
